Hello Jerry Fans! I’m Sarah, a senior at Ball State University, taking over as the Official Blogger for Layne. I’m really excited about getting the opportunity to do this. My plan is to keep everyone up-to-date and entertained about what’s going on here at the Mitchell place during post production. We still have lots of great video clips and pictures in the works to share with everyone.

While filming this summer the set had the pleasure of Charlie Cardinal, Ball State’s mascot, coming to visit. Doug Jones was the Charlie Cardinal for basketball his junior and senior year at BSU. Here is a little story he shared with the Alumni Magazine…

I always used to mess with the guys who swept the court at half time, and one time I was waiting for a sweeper in the middle of the court with a sort of “bring it on” attitude. As he got to me, I hopped over the wide mop base, but the pole ran right into my private region, if you know what I mean. The crowd went kooky with laughter.

And here is a clip of Charlie running around the set. I too, didn’t get to experience this but it looks like great fun!
